Problem
What was breaking
Vendors emailed PDFs. Assistants dropped them in a drive. Partners approved in reply-all. Nobody could say which invoices were waiting, or why a payment had stalled.
Solution
What we built
Ledgerwell captures invoices, extracts the obvious fields, and routes them through coding and approval. Exceptions stay in a queue. The firm’s accounting system remains the ledger; this application is the intake and control layer in front of it.
Outcome
Approvers see a queue instead of an inbox. Finance can answer “where is this invoice?” without searching email, and the accounting export is a controlled action rather than a copy-paste ritual.
