Problem
What was breaking
Office staff created jobs in email. Technicians carried printed work orders. Photos of completed work lived on personal phones. Invoicing waited until someone typed the day up.
Solution
What we built
Fieldnote is a web application used in the office and on phones in the field. Jobs have a site, a customer, a checklist, and a closeout that captures notes and photos. The office sees what is open without calling the crew.
Outcome
Jobs close the same day they are completed. Invoicing starts from the closeout, not from a reconstructed timesheet, and customers receive a consistent visit record.
